The Lions in Our Community Gallery
Spring Time Roadside Cleanup.
Members of The Morrisburg & District Lions Club, the Leos and a group of community volunteers gathered Saturday, May 13th at 8:00 am for our annual, "Spring Time" roadside cleanup. One hour and fifteen minutes later, 36 large garbage bags were collected!
Our adoptive stretch of County Road 2 runs from Nash Creek up to the Church Road. After the pickup, we gathered at the Riverside hall for a delicious pancake breakfast, that was cooked and served by some of our Leo members and Advisors.
Pictured below are the Lions, Leos and the community volunteers who participated. Thank you to all who came out on what turned out to be a beautiful day. Friendly reminder, please don't litter. "We Serve"
